King St Clinic

I believe everybody has a right to feel good, to take action to be their best on a physical and emotional level, and to improve their health.

Holistic health care is not about short term cover-ups or fixes. It's about individualised, person-centred treatment and lifestyle choices, helping you to be healthy and happy with who you are.

Herbal and Naturopathic Medicine provides the tools to do this, educating and empowering you to take control of your health and pursue an integrative, holistic approach to your wellbeing.

Naturopathic & herbal medicine focuses on the individual - so consultations often take longer than with some other health providers. The first consultation involves a very thorough review of your health history, which on average takes around 60 minutes. Subsequent consultations are around 30 minutes, but may be longer for more complex issues.

As I specialise in herbal medicine, the key focus of my prescribing is liquid herbal medicine formulations which are prepared individually and specifically for you. Whilst other types of preparations (such as tablets and capsules) may be employed, the advantage of liquid herbal prescribing is that each formulation I make is unique and tailored specifically for your unique health needs. This level of individualised treatment results in far better outcomes for most patients.

Initial telehealth consultation (usually 60 minutes) $195
Standard follow-up telehealth consultation (usually 30 minutes) $75 (reduced fee during the COVID-19 crisis)
Short telehealth consultation (20 minutes) $40
Case report preparation/case conference (when required) $110

* Medicines are not included in the price of the consultation.
* Consultation fees may be reduced for bonafide students and pensioners. Please provide proof of status at consultation.
* During the COVID-19 pandemic, Telehealth consultations are offered as a substitute for face-to-face consultations, which are not possible at this time.

Unfortunately changes are occurring within health funds in 2019 which may result in decreased coverage of Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine consultations. As these changes are still in progress, and each health fund varies, it is best to check with your health fund provider. Your invoice will contain all the information necessary for a health fund provider to evaluate your claim if necessary.

Due to the difficulty in filling at short notice, appointments cancelled with less than 24hrs notice may attract a cancellation fee of $75.

COVID-19 and Telehealth Consultations

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of daily life, and from a health care perspective it has led to a surge in the utilisation of telehealth - ways of seeing patients remotely using computer technology.

I employ easy to use and reliable technologies to allow me to still offer naturopathic care remotely, including video-conferencing (with telephone as a backup) and herbal medicines and supplements delivered directly to your door.
